Don’t Look Down (A Short Poem)

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Don’t look down it’s an impossible view. You cannot change what has happened before you can only look up to the future. If you never give up there is always an opportunity to turn a negative experience into a positive one.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Our eyes may be capable of seeing the beauty in our lives, but how often does our perception decieve us? When we see a person from afar they appear to be a tiny person. But we are deceived. Our mind reminds us that the distance between the person and ourselves explains why we actually just perceive them as tiny. We know once they get closer and closer they will appear to be normal in size even though that isn’t what our eyes see at the moment.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Why not then use our minds to recognize that our current “negative” experiences may only appear that way due to perception. If we can convince ourselves that as we get closer to what we want those over exaggerated negative experiences will appear more normal, then we’ll stop allowing the stress and confusion of those experiences to taint our viewpoint.  Then we can truly embrace the beauty in life.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I’d have to agree. If we don’t let our vision get cloudy then everytime we look up something bright and beautiful is all we’ll see. 🌞

Be Beautiful.

Be RisFit!

Chris 😊
